Terms of Sale

Agreement

By placing an order on nxgarms.com you agree to these Terms of Sale and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to PrecisionFit grips, mold kits, backup mold kits, ARES 10/22 chassis, Cerakote add-ons, engraving, texturing, and related services sold on this website. NXG Arms sells non-serialized components and accessories on this site. This website does not sell, ship, or transfer serialized firearms.

What You Are Buying

A PrecisionFit order is a custom manufacturing job, not a shelf item. The first new-customer grip is a one-time setup (mold kit, 3D scan, design, cleaning, and production) plus a base grip price. The $49 figure shown on the site is the base reorder price for another grip from a scan we already have on file — not a free replacement, not extra grips in the box, and not a credit. Optional add-ons (Cerakote, texture, engraving, backup kits) are extra and billed as configured. An ARES chassis is a chassis only. You are responsible for building a legal firearm around it.

Your Impression, Your Result

You create the mold. The finished grip can only be as good as the impression you send. You must watch the full instruction video before you start. Failure to follow the video, a rushed impression, movement during set, a damaged mold, or an impression you later dislike is not a manufacturing defect and is not grounds for a refund, remake, or warranty claim. If you believe you ruined a mold, contact us at jdconley@nxgarms.com before you ship it back. Once we receive a mold and production begins, that geometry is what we scan and build. We do not recut a grip because the feel was not what you hoped.

Instruction Video

The instruction video is required viewing before you make your impression. Watch it in full: https://youtu.be/qabAOoRQ5tc — also linked from the red bar at the top of every page. Your grip is only as good as your impression. Skipping, skimming, or ignoring the video is done at your own risk.

Backup Mold Kits

Backup mold kits are insurance — not extra grips. They give you a second or third chance to capture your impression if a mold is damaged or unsuccessful. Buying +1 or +2 kits does not add additional finished grips to your order and does not mean you receive two or three PrecisionFit grips. All kits must be returned, used or unused. If you buy backups, complete an impression in each kit and clearly mark the one you want produced. Only the marked mold is scanned and built. Unmarked kits may be treated as unused and will not be produced as extra grips.

Kits and Return Shipping

After you order, we ship a mold kit. You are responsible for return shipping the kit (or kits) back to NXG Arms and for any carrier insurance you want on that return. Production does not start until we receive your completed mold. You have 60 days from the day you receive the kit to make your mold impression and ship every kit back to us. NXG Arms does not make the impression — you do. The molding compound is time-sensitive and can harden. If you wait past 60 days and the mold has hardened or is unusable, that is on you. It is not a defect and not a refund of the original order. You must still ship the old dried kit back. A replacement mold kit is an additional $30. If a kit is lost on the way to you, contact us and we will work it. If a kit is lost on the way back to us, that risk is yours unless you insured the shipment. If you do not return a kit, we cannot build a grip; the order remains non-refundable once the kit has shipped.

Scan Data

We 3D-scan the mold you return so we can produce your grip and so you can reorder later without a new kit. That file is a manufacturing record of the mold — it is not used to identify you, run background checks, or sell to anyone. We keep it indefinitely unless you email jdconley@nxgarms.com and ask us to delete it. Deletion is permanent: any future grip will require a new kit and setup. By ordering you grant NXG Arms the right to store and use that scan solely to manufacture grips for you. We do not sell or share the scan. We do not owe you a copy of the raw file.

Reorder Price and Lifetime Coverage

“$49 for life” means the base price to produce another PrecisionFit grip from a scan already on file, not a lifetime of free grips. Add-ons are extra. “Lifetime” coverage, where advertised, means we will repair or replace a grip that fails because of a manufacturing defect in something we made — for as long as you own that grip — if the failure is our fault (for example a structural failure in normal use). It does not cover a bad impression, a grip you no longer like, normal wear, abuse, aftermarket parts, improper install, or a scan you asked us to delete. A warranty remake, if we approve it, is a replacement of that grip — not a new platform, not extra kits, and not a cash refund. Obvious problems on arrival (wrong item, damaged in our packaging, unusable out of the box) must be reported within 30 days of delivery. Later manufacturing-defect claims should be sent when the failure shows up, with photos. We decide coverage in good faith from the evidence.

Configurator and 3D Viewer

The on-site 3D viewer is a marking tool so you can show us where you want texture. It is not a photograph of the finished part. Cerakote color, texture density, engraving placement, and surface finish will vary. You are ordering the options you click — platform, finish, texture regions, engraving, and kits — as shown at checkout. We build to that configuration.

ARES 10/22 Chassis — Not a Firearm

The ARES line is a non-serialized chassis for the Ruger 10/22 platform. It is not a firearm, not a serialized receiver, and not sold as a complete gun on this website. Pistol and buffer-tube versions are different rear connections. You are solely responsible for assembling a legal configuration under federal, state, and local law (including overall length, pistol vs. rifle, and any NFA rules). NXG Arms does not configure, certify, or transfer a complete firearm through this site.

Compatibility

PrecisionFit grips are designed for factory-specification AR-style mounting unless we say otherwise. ARES chassis are designed for factory-specification Ruger 10/22 components unless we say otherwise. We do not guarantee fit with aftermarket receivers, barrels, triggers, stocks, or accessories. Combining our parts with non-factory parts is your risk.

Cerakote and Finish

Cerakote and other finishes wear. Color can shift, fade, or abrade. We do not guarantee a perfect match to a swatch, long-term color stability, or resistance to solvents or weather. Cosmetic wear is not a defect. This website’s Cerakote option is a finish on the grip or chassis you ordered here. We do not accept customer firearms for coating through this checkout.

All Sales Final

These are custom, made-to-order products. All sales are final once the mold kit ships or, for chassis, once the order is placed. Returns or replacements are considered only for a catastrophic manufacturing defect we caused. “I changed my mind,” a bad impression, or cosmetic variation is not a defect.

Cancellation

You may cancel a PrecisionFit order for a full refund only before the mold kit ships. After the kit ships, the order is non-refundable. After we receive your mold and production starts, no cancellation or change of options. Chassis orders may be cancelled only before they enter production, at our discretion.

Chargebacks

Opening a card dispute after a kit has shipped or after production has started does not cancel the order or create a refund right. Custom work already underway will still be billed. Contact jdconley@nxgarms.com first. We will document kit shipment, mold receipt, and configuration against any dispute.

Payment, Pricing, Tax, and Lead Time

Full payment is due when you order. Listed prices do not always include sales tax or shipping; tax and shipping are added at checkout as applicable. You are responsible for those amounts. Production does not start until payment is in and, for grips, your mold is in our hands. We may correct obvious pricing errors and cancel an affected order with a refund. Custom lead time is typically 2–3 weeks after we have what we need to build; that is an estimate, not a guarantee. Cerakote or non-stock colors can add time.

Shipping

Outbound shipping on kits and finished goods is as shown at checkout. You pay to ship molds back. Delivery dates are estimates. Risk of loss on goods we ship to you passes when the carrier delivers. Insure high-value returns if you want that protection. U.S. shipping is the default. Contact us before an international order.

Installation and Use

Install products with the specified hardware and tools. ARES chassis: provided screws only; torque 18–20 in/lbs, never over 22 in/lbs; ball-head S2 H4.0 Allen (6 inches or longer) except picatinny button-heads (S2 H3.0). Cross-threading, over-torque, or the wrong tool is on you. Firearm use involves inherent risk. You assume that risk. NXG Arms is not liable for injury, death, or property damage from installation, use, misuse, or handling of these products.

Aftermarket Modifications

Modifying our products or running them with aftermarket parts is at your sole risk and voids warranty and return eligibility.

Export

U.S. shipping is the default. International orders may be subject to ITAR and EAR. Contact us before ordering from outside the United States. Unauthorized export is prohibited.

Email and Marketing

Order emails are for the order: kit shipped, mold received, and shipping updates. Marketing emails (news, restocks, offers) are sent only if you check the optional box on the cart. You can unsubscribe in any message or by emailing jdconley@nxgarms.com. We do not sell your email.

Identity Documents

If we ask for a photo of a driver’s license or ID, it is only to verify a returning-customer or similar order. It is not used for credit, marketing, or sale. We keep it only as long as needed for that verification, then delete it on request to jdconley@nxgarms.com.

Website Use

Do not scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the site, the 3D grip model, or our files. Affiliate invite codes are personal and not for resale. Command Center is for NXG Arms staff only.

Intellectual Property

NXG Arms names, logos, PrecisionFit, ARES, product design, and site content are our property. Personal use of a grip or chassis you bought is fine. Reproducing, reverse-engineering, or selling copies is not.

Warranty Disclaimer

Except for the manufacturing-defect coverage described above, products are provided as-is. To the fullest extent allowed by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing on the site creates a warranty we did not put in these terms.

Limitation of Liability

NXG Arms’ liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost time, lost use of a firearm, or additional gunsmithing. You agree to indemnify NXG Arms, its owners, and contractors against claims arising from your use, misuse, installation, modification, or unlawful use of the product.

Catastrophic Manufacturing Defects

If a product is unusable or unsafe because of a defect we caused, email jdconley@nxgarms.com within 30 days of delivery with photos and details. You cover return shipping unless we approve the claim. If we agree it is our defect, we will repair or replace at our option within a reasonable time after we receive the part.

Disputes — AAA Arbitration

If we cannot resolve a dispute by email, it will be decided by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules — not in a class action and not as a group. AAA is a private arbitration organization used throughout the United States; it is not a government court and it is not tied to Ohio. Hearings may be remote. You and NXG Arms each waive a jury trial and class proceedings. Before filing, email jdconley@nxgarms.com a short written notice of the dispute and wait 30 days so we can try to fix it. You may still use small-claims court if your claim qualifies. Judgment on an AAA award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing here stops either party from seeking a temporary court order to protect intellectual property or prevent immediate harm.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state where NXG Arms maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. That location may change (including a planned move). Arbitration under the AAA section above still applies wherever we operate.

Affiliate Orders

Complimentary or affiliate builds use the same mold, scan, backup-kit, shipping, and impression rules as paid PrecisionFit orders. An affiliate code is personal. It is not a coupon for resale and does not change the requirement to return kits or watch the instruction video.

Engraving

Engraving is limited to the characters allowed in the configurator. We may refuse text that is unlawful, infringing, or that we decline to put on a product. Refused engraving is omitted or the order is cancelled before production, at our option; it is not a defect.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes, Entire Agreement, Severability

We may update these terms. The version posted when you order is the one that applies to that order. These terms plus the Privacy Policy and the configuration on your order are the entire agreement for that purchase. No email, ad, or phone call changes them unless we put it in writing. If a court or arbitrator throws out one sentence, the rest still applies. NXG Arms may assign these terms (for example if the business moves or is sold). You may not assign your order without our consent. Indemnity, scan rights, IP, arbitration, and limitation of liability survive completion of an order.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events we do not control: weather, carrier failure, supply shortages, illness, or changes in law.
