FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know about NXG custom grips.

THE PROCESS

After you place your order, we ship you a custom molding kit — designed and engraved in-house at NXG Arms. Inside is a precision mold and everything you need to capture your grip. You watch our instruction video, complete your impression, and ship the kit back to us. We run your mold through a 3D scanner to capture exact geometry, produce your grip, and ship it to your door.

No special tools required. Everything you need is in the kit. The most important thing is to watch the instruction video in full before you start. Follow it exactly — your finished grip is only as good as your impression.

Contact us immediately at Nxgarms@spcprotectionsystems.com before shipping the mold back. If the mold is returned damaged or unusable, we’ll reach out to discuss options, which may include a remolding kit at additional cost. This is why we strongly recommend watching the full instruction video before attempting your impression.

After we receive your completed mold back, expect [X] business days for production and shipping. We’ll notify you at each stage — when your kit ships, when we receive your mold, and when your finished grip ships.

Contact us before shipping the mold back. Once we receive it and production begins, no changes can be made.

THE PRODUCT

We build custom grips for handguns (1911, Glock, CZ-75, Sig P320, Sig P365, Beretta 92, S&W M&P), rifles (AR-15, AR-10, M4, M16, SR25, M110), shotguns (Remington 870, Mossberg 500, Benelli, and more), and virtually any other platform. If you don’t see your firearm listed, contact us — we build for any gun.

Standard Custom ($200) is a precision molded grip built from your hand scan — the core NXG experience. Super Custom ($210+) adds Cerakote finish, custom text engraving, texturing options, and custom design uploads. Returning Customer ($50) is for shooters who already have a mold on file — you’re ordering another grip without needing a new kit.

High-strength polymer composite built to handle thousands of rounds, extreme temperatures, and hard use. Durable, lightweight, and built to outlast factory grips.

NXG Arms grips are designed for factory-specification firearm configurations. Compatibility with aftermarket components is not guaranteed and is the responsibility of the buyer.

Yes. Cerakote is available as part of the Super Custom tier or as an add-on. Standard lead time for stock colors is 2–3 weeks. Non-stock colors may take longer. Contact us for color options and availability.

ORDERING & PAYMENT

Full payment is required at the time of order. Production does not begin until payment is confirmed and your completed mold is received.

Orders can be cancelled before your mold kit ships for a full refund. Once the kit ships, the order is non-refundable. Once we receive your mold and production begins, no cancellations or modifications are accepted.

Fit issues resulting from an improperly completed mold impression are the responsibility of the buyer — which is exactly why the instruction video is required viewing. If you believe there’s a manufacturing defect, contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos and details at Nxgarms@spcprotectionsystems.com.

Yes. Your 3D scan data is retained so you can place Returning Customer orders in the future without needing a new kit. Your data is never sold or shared. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us — just know that deletion means a new kit will be required for future orders.

Select the Returning Customer tier on the grips page. You’ll need to verify your identity and confirm your original purchase details. We’ll pull your scan data on file and get your new grip into production.
